The Information We Collect

Visitors to the Website

When you submit a request via the  Contact or Request Information forms on the website you may voluntarily provide us with certain information about yourself.  This can include name, email address, contact information, details of your request and any other information you provide us. We also collect records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.  If you’re visiting the Websites on your mobile device, you may also choose to provide us with location data.

Website Access Information

Like most website operators, APT collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request when visitors use the Websites. APT’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how APT’s visitors use or visit the Websites. From time to time, APT may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its Websites.  APT also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Websites. For instance, APT may monitor the Websites to help identify spam. We also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking). APT may use publically available information to match a user’s IP address with a corporate address to better understand user interest in the Websites.

In addition to log data, we may also collect information about the device you’re using to access the Websites, including the type of device, the operating system, device settings, device identifiers and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on what type of device you’re using and its settings.  To learn more about the information your device makes available to us, please review the policies of your device manufacturer or software provider.

We do not collect personal information automatically, but we may tie this information to personal information about you that we collect from other sources or you provide to us.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like many websites, the Websites may use “cookies” to collect information.  A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. APT may use cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of the Websites, and their website access preferences. Website visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the Website, with the drawback that certain features of the Websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies. Certain features of our Websites may use local stored objects (or Flash cookies) to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from, and on our Websites. Flash cookies are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies.

Pages of our Websites may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the Websites (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers within the United States. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Websites, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP-address that your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also opt-out from being tracked by Google Analytics with effect for the future by downloading and installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for your current web browser: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
